Baylor continued to build its secondary of the future by receiving a verbal commitment from Frisco Lone Star High School safety Chris Miller on Friday.
Miller is the fourth defensive back to commit to the Bears in the 2016 class as he joins Kountze cornerback Grayland Arnold, Lancaster safety Kenan Ivy and Frisco Centennial cornerback Raleigh Texada. The Bears now have eight commitments in their 2016 class.
The 6-0, 184-pound Miller collected 123 tackles, forced three fumbles and made two interceptions as a junior last season.
Miller, who was unavailable for comment Friday night, has also been recruited by such schools as Wisconsin, Mississippi State and Nebraska.
