Matt Rhule added his third tight end for the 2018 in Christoph Henle, a product of Arlington Oakridge. It is Baylor’s 16th commitment for the class.

Henle (6-5, 235) held offers from California, Houston, Illinois, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. As a junior, Henle caught 41 passes for 579 yards and nine touchdowns.

Henle joins Bralen Taylor of Cuero and Ben Sims from San Antonio Clark as commitments at the tight end position for Rhule’s 2018 squad.

Henle was creative with his commitment video, climbing a mountain and grabbing hats of Baylor, Illinois, California and Kentucky along the way while saying a brief statement on what he liked about each school.

Henle is a big, athletic tight end that should fit in nicely with the speed of the 2018 class.
