Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty hit 14 of 18 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns during an intrasquad scrimmage Thursday afternoon.
Petty threw touchdown passes of 70 and 42 yards to Corey Coleman.
Defensive end Javonte Magee led the Bears with two sacks for 15 yards while safety Orion Stewart recorded eight tackles and linebacker Taylor Young finished with seven tackles. The Bears finished with 10 sacks.
“That’s our fifth workout in seven days,” Baylor coach Art Briles said. “I thought the energy was still good. That’s what we’re trying to do is have great energy, great intensity. I thought we got a little tired today, and it showed a little bit, but that’s understandable.”
The Bears will take off for spring break before returning to practice March 18.
