Baylor received its second verbal commitment from a tight end of the weekend as Cuero's Bralen Taylor announced his decision on Sunday.
The Bears received a commitment from San Antonio Clark tight end Ben Sims on Friday.
The 6-8, 221-pound Taylor is a three-star prospect who chose Baylor over Mississippi and Oregon.
Taylor accumulated 1,103 yards and 15 touchdowns as a tight end, wide receiver and wildcat quarterback as a junior for a Cuero team that finished 13-1 last season.
Baylor now has 15 commitments in the 2018 class.
