Kingwood Park High School tight end Jordan Feuerbacher has signed a financial aid contract with Baylor, an official in the university’s athletic department said Tuesday.
Feuerbacher plans to graduate from Kingwood Park in December and attend Baylor in the spring semester.
“Jordan isn’t just a very talented football player, he brings great character to the team,” Kingwood Park coach Jim Holley said. “Leadership is the best quality he brings. He leads by example and actions. He’s absolutely solid academically.”
By enrolling for the spring semester, the 6-3, 240-pound Feuerbacher will be able to go through spring drills with the Bears. He will help the Bears fill a much needed void at tight end since Jordan Najvar and Jerod Monk are seniors on this year’s team.
Holley said Feuerbacher has been outstanding at the high school level.
“He has great hands and great feet and is a phenomenal blocker,” Holley said. “He’s really dominated at the high school level and gets high grades from us each week.”
