The Baylor women’s tennis team continued their singles run on the second day of the H-E-B Invitational at Hurd Tennis Center Saturday.
After a stellar sweep for all four Baylor competitors yesterday, the panel of players made their way to quarterfinals.
Senior Theresa Van Zyl competed against Tyler’s Tamara Arnold and remained undefeated as she won, 6-2, 6-3. Van Zyl previously faced TCU’s Stevie Kennedy (6-0, 6-2) and Isabel Iglesias from Kentucky (6-2, 6-2) before facing off against Arnold.
Van Zyl will challenge fellow Bear sophomore Jessica Hinojosa in the semifinal round tomorrow at 9 a.m.
