Fresh off an enormous win over then No. 11 Kansas last weekend, the Baylor volleyball team leaped to No. 19 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Poll, a season best.

The Bears also swept the Big 12 players of the week awards. Defensively,  Shelly Fanning led the conference with 2.67 blocks per set, while matching a career-high eight blocks in the Bears' win over Kansas.

Offensively, Yossiana Pressley was tops in the Big 12 with 7 points per set and blasted 19 kills on a .410 hitting clip.

The Bears (21-5, 11-2 Big 12) are ranked for the 26th time in program history and have been listed in the poll for five straight weeks since Oct. 9.

Baylor plays host to Kansas State Wednesday night at the Ferrell Center at 6 p.m. The match will also be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.
