Baylor volleyball’s Yossiana Pressley was named the National Player of the Week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
Pressley becomes just the third player in program history to claim the honor. Katie Staiger was the last to do it, in September of last year.
Pressley, a freshman from Cypress, Texas, pounded 31 kills in two matches last week, and has led the Big 12 the past two weeks in kills per set and points per set. Pressley and the No. 23 Bears will travel to No. 11 Kansas on Saturday.
