Baylor’s track and field teams chased down two gold medals at the Tyson Invitational on Saturday, while Aailyah Miller turned in a quality race at the Iowa State Classic.
At the Tyson Invite in Fayetteville, Ark., BU freshman Jalen Seals snatched the title in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 51-93/4. That’s also the second-best indoor showing in school history.
Baylor also picked up a win in the 4x400 relay, with the foursome of Jayson Baldridge, Robert Dutton, Elijah Gifford and Antwuan Musgrove clocking in at 3:14.73.
At the Iowa State Classic in Ames, BU sophomore Aailyah Miller clocked a 2:05.22 in the 800 to finish third. Miller missed the entire 2017 outdoor season with an injury.
