Baylor’s track and field team has added six new members to its signing class.
The Baylor men signed sprinter Isaiah Cunningham (personal-best 10.35 in 100) of Moreno Valley, Calif., quartermiler Trey Fields (46.49) of Manvel, Texas, quartermiler/hurdler Elijah Gifford (55.15 in 400 hurdles) of St. Michael’s Academy in Austin and distance runner Jackson Vicary (9:21.06 in 3,200) of Plano West.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bears added Lorena pole vaulter Tiffani Peacock (personal-best of 12-0) and Kingwood distance runner Sarah Antrich (4:41.09 in 1,500). Peacock, who is also a standout hurdler, could see action in the heptathlon as well.
Those athletes join a 10-member class Baylor signed in November.
