NORMAN, Okla. — The Baylor soccer team (7-2-2, 1-1-1) had a strong shot output, but couldn’t find the net, locking in a 0-0 scoreless draw after two overtime periods with the Oklahoma Sooners (2-8-2, 0-1-1) on Friday evening at John Crain Field.
The Bears ended with a 20-5 advantage on shots, including nine shots on goal and a 6-0 advantage on shots taken in the two overtime period. OU’s McKinley Crone had a career night in goal, finishing with all nine of OU’s saves.
Freshman goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt notched her fifth solo shutout of the season, improving to 5-2-1 on the year. Wandt was only tested twice, coming up with both saves for the Bears.
