LAWRENCE, Kan. — Aline De Lima scored with less than 12 minutes remaining as the hot Baylor soccer team pulled off a 1-0 win over Kansas on Sunday afternoon.

It was Baylor's third straight Big 12 win following a 3-0 home win over Texas Tech last weekend and Friday's 1-0 road win over Kansas State.

The Bears (10-3-2, 4-2-1) are trying to make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2012 with regular season games remaining against No. 9 Texas on Friday at Betty Lou Mays Field and a Sept. 27 date at TCU, followed by the Big 12 tournament.

De Lima broke the scoreless tie with her fourth goal of the season following an assist by Raegan Padgett. Baylor finished with 15 shots to Kansas' 11.
