Jackie Crowther drilled a 15-foot shot with 12 minutes remaining to lift the Baylor soccer team to a 1-0 win over Ball State on Sunday at Betty Lou Mays Field.

Crowther's goal was her team-leading third of the season while Baylor freshman goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt recorded her second straight shutout. The Bears stayed unbeaten at 4-0-1 while Ball State dropped to 1-4.

Baylor will hit the road next weekend for a tournament in Portland, Ore., that includes Friday's date against Portland and Sunday's date against Washington.
