Baylor senior midfielder Aline De Lima was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America second team after helping the Bears reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.

De Lima became the fourth Baylor soccer player to be named All-American, joining Courtney Saunders and Dawn Greathouse in 1998 and Dana Larsen in 2012.

De Lima finished the 2017 season with seven goals and eight assists while recording a team-high three game-winning goals. She was at her best in the postseason as she collected two goals and four assists in a three-game sweep in the Big 12 tournament while adding a goal and an assist in the NCAA tournament.
