Baylor’s No. 22 men’s tennis team opened its regular season with a pair of 7-0 dustings of Incarnate Word and Grand Canyon on Saturday at the Hurd Tennis Center.

Juan Benitez improved to 6-0 in singles play on the season with a pair of wins, and the Bears won their 21st of 22 home openers under head coach Matt Knoll.

Next up for the Bears is a reunion with former Big 12 rival Texas A&M on Jan. 28 in College Station.
