The Baylor men’s golf team shot 6-under-par 282 in Sunday’s first round of the Linger Longer at the Great Waters Golf Course. Baylor sophomore Matthew Perrine is tied for the individual lead after a career-best 65.

Perrine finished the first round tied for the individual lead with Purdue’s Luis Fernando Barco, both carding scores of 7-under-par 65. Perrine shot 30 on the back-9, carding six birdies and three pars to finish with a career-low round and tying the sixth-best individual round in program history.
