HUMBLE, Texas. – The Baylor men’s golf team put together its best-ever team score on a par-72 course, shooting 20-under 268 on Saturday in the second round of the All-American Intercollegiate.
Garrett May carded a 7-under 65 to lead the way for the Bears. Braden Bailey and Cooper Dossey both shot 66.
Those strong efforts have helped Baylor build a 12-stroke lead over the field, as top-ranked Vanderbilt is the next-closest team to the Bears.
Tournament action will continue on Sunday.
