SPRINGTOWN – The No. 1-seeded Baylor equestrian team won all of its events to roll to a 14-6 win over fourth-seeded TCU on Friday to earn a spot in the championship match.
Baylor (12-4) had lost its last four matches heading into the Big 12 tournament. Baylor will face No. 3-seed Kansas State at 10 a.m. Saturday for the title.
No. 2 Oklahoma State, which dropped a 10-8 decision to Kansas State on Friday, will face TCU (5-7) for third place.
Sam Schaefer led Baylor to a 5-0 win in fences competition before the team took 3-2 decisions in reining, horsemanship and flat riding.
