COLLEGE STATION — A freshman-laden group of Baylor women’s cross country runners finished fourth at the Aggieland Open on Friday.
The bulk of Baylor’s top runners sat out the recently-added meet. Baylor freshman Isabella Lackner completed the 5,000-meter course in 19:49.95 to finish as the top runner for her team in 20th place.
Stephen F. Austin won the meet, followed by Texas A&M and Sam Houston. Baylor’s full team will return to action next week at the Wisconsin Invitational.
