GRAND PRAIRIE — With four runners finishing in the top 10, the Baylor men’s cross country team took second at the Gerald Richey Invitational Saturday at Lynn Creek Park.
It marked the second straight second-place showing for Baylor. Kyle Scanlan completed the 5,000-meter course in 15:17.8, taking fourth place for the Bears. Matt Parham (sixth), Seth Brown (eighth) and Chris McElroy (ninth) also made top 10 finishes.
Baylor’s women placed third behind host UT-Arlington and the University of Dallas. Aubree Miller led the team for a second straight week with a 10th-place showing.
Next weekend the Baylor men will head to the Stanford Invitational, while the women are bound for the Roy Griak meet in Minneapolis.
