FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Baylor men’s cross country team finished fourth at the Chile Pepper Festival Saturday at Agri Park. The Baylor women finished 16th at the same meet.
Sophomore Eric Anderson again led the Bears with a 22nd-place finish, completing the 8,000-meter course in a time of 24:21.32. J.R.. Hardy was the next Bear to finish, at 48th with a time of 24:51.99.
Many of Baylor’s top women’s runners didn’t compete Saturday. Audree Miller led the team for the third time this year, placing 74th with a 5,000-meter time of 18:04.65.
Baylor will next run Oct. 16 at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational.
