The Baylor cross country teams will stretch their legs for the first time since the season opener when they run at the Ken Garland Invitational in Denton on Saturday.
Both the BU men and women won their season-opening Baylor Twilight Invitational two weeks ago. For the women, four of the team’s top scoring runners from that meet (Gabby Satterlee, Brooke Gilmore, Alison-Andrews Paul and Hana Marsheck) will compete at North Texas while Lindsey Bradley and Anna West will be held out of the meet.
The Baylor men should have their full complement of runners, including sophomore Devin Meyrer, who will be making his season debut.
The women’s 5,000-meter race is set for 8:30 a.m. at Denton’s Discovery Park, while the men’s four-mile race will follow at 9 a.m.
