Baylor cross country revealed its 2015 schedule Wednesday, which includes the season-opening Bear Twilight Invitational on Sept. 1.
It’s the 13th straight year the Bears have opened their season with that home meet. Baylor will again use the Heart O’Texas Soccer Complex as its home course for the meet.
The Baylor men and women will split up only once, on Sept. 26, when the women’s team heads to the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn., and the men’s squad competes at the Stanford Invitational in California.
Other highlights include the Big 12 Championships Oct. 31 in Stillwater, Okla., and the NCAA South Central Region Championships Nov. 13 in College Station. It’s only the fourth time in the past 13 years that Baylor has not hosted the regional meet.
Last year the Baylor women earned their first NCAA Championships berth since 2009.
