Baylor baseball’s Shea Langeliers has been named a first-team preseason All-American by D1Baseball.com.
Langeliers hit .313 with 66 hits, 43 runs, 14 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs and 38 RBIs in 2017. The sophomore catcher had already been named a preseason All-American by Perfect Game/Rawlings. Langeliers was named a Freshman All-American last year by several publications, and was the Tribune-Herald’s Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
Langeliers and the Bears open the season Feb. 16-18 at home against Purdue.
