Eighteen Baylor baseball players have been assigned to play in various summer collegiate leagues across the country.

Levi Gilcrease (Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks), Hayden Kettler (Matsu Miners) and Andy Thomas (Matsu Miners) are playing in the Alaska Baseball League.

Gilcrease is hitting .222 with four RBIs. Thomas is leading the league at the plate with a .400 average, adding six runs and three RBIs. Kettler is 0-0 in two starts with a 1.80 ERA, allowing four runs (two earned) on eight hits and five walks with 12 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Shea Langeliers (Chatham Anglers) is playing in the Cape Cod Baseball League. In his lone game played he went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and run scored.

Josh Bissonette (Wilmar Stingers), Joe Heineman (Lakeshore Chinooks) and T.J. Raguse (Lakeshore Chinooks) are playing in the Northwoods League. Bissonette is hitting .432 with four runs. He recently had a six-hit game, marking the first such performance in the Northwoods League since 2012.

Heineman is 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA, allowing two runs on seven hits and four walks with nine strikeouts in 7.1 innings over four relief appearances.

Raguse has seven hits – three of which went for extra bases – with seven runs and three RBIs.

Tucker Cascadden (Danville Dans) and Alex Griggs (Danville Dans) are playing in the Prospect League. Cascadden has two hits and one RBI in four games. Griggs is 0-0 with a 3.68 ERA, allowing six runs (three earned) on eight hits with 13 strikeouts in 7.1 innings over five relief appearances.

Collin Garrett (Brazos Valley Bombers) is playing in the Texas Collegiate League and has yet to make a pitching appearance.

Trevor Harris (Front Royal Cardinals), Ryan Leckich (Front Royal Cardinals) and Hunter Seay (Harrisburg Turks) are playing in the Valley Baseball League. Harris is 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA, allowing no runs on one hit with two strikeouts in 2.2 innings over three relief appearances.

Leckich is 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits with six strikeouts in 6.1 innings in his lone start.

Seay has two hits, one run and two walks in six games as a hitter and is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in his lone relief appearance on the mound.

Luke Boyd (Victoria Harbourcats), Tucker Johnson (Victoria Harbourcats), Davis Wendzel (Victoria Harbourcats), Daniel Caruso (Gresham Greywolves) and Cole Weaver (Gresham Greywolves) are playing in the West Coast League.

Boyd is 1-1 with a 2.07 ERA, allowing three runs on nine hits with seven strikeouts over two relief appearances and one start. Johnson and Wendzel are each hitting .250. Caruso is 2-0 with a 5.40 ERA and nine strikeouts in three relief appearances. Weaver is hitting .350 with two runs, two doubles and one RBI in seven games.
