Baylor men's tennis sweeps Prairie View, UT-Arlington
The Baylor men’s tennis teams put a pair of wins on the board Sunday, sweeping Prairie View A&M and Texas-Arlington by identical 7-0 scores.
The 13th-ranked Bears (8-2) sat their normal top three of Denes Lukacs, Jordan Rux and Attila Bucko against Prairie View A&M but still cruised to five straight-set victories. In doubles, Baylor allowed the Panthers (1-5) to win only one game total in the three matches.
Baylor’s big guns were back in the lineup for the match against UTA (1-4), and the Bears claimed each singles tilt in straight sets. No doubles match was closer than 8-4.
The Bears will be back in action Wednesday, when they host No. 3 Ohio State at 3 p.m. at Baylor Tennis Center.
