EDITORIAL: Your two cents on transportation plans
While state plans for improving Interstate 35 in our area are proceeding, the Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization has plenty of other plans prioritized and sketched out for critical road and bridge projects in our area.
Now local officials seek your input about these, which will be on view at several meetings both this week and next. We encourage your attendance and input. The first meeting is at 6:30 tonight at the Waco Transit Building, 301 S. 8th St., Suite 100.
Others planned for this month are:
* Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Lacy-Lakeview Community Center, 505 E. Craven Ave.
* Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Hewitt Community Center, 208 Chama Drive.
* Jan. 26 at noon at Doris Miller Multi-Purpose Center, 1020 Elm St.
* Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at West Community Centter, 205 W. Tokio Road.
