If there were any true justice left in America, John Couey would already be dead.
Couey is the evil monster who molested, raped, tortured and then buried alive little 9-year-old Jessie Lunsford. A jury sentenced him to death last week.
Couey doesn't deserve any more food, oxygen or any other creature comfort. We should kill him as soon as possible. If his death takes years to carry out the sentence, there will be no justice. I want all child molesters executed, not just murderers like John Couey. I do not care if the child molester is Couey or a priest. Execute all of them. The sooner the better.
The irrefutable fact is that pedophiles have the highest recidivism rates of any criminals. Once released from custody, it is virtually a statistical certainty that they will prey on more of our children and destroy more innocent lives.
Couey was arrested and charged with various crimes 24 times, our pathetic legal system guaranteeing more victims. How much more evil will America take?
If we value our children as we claim, then we should protect our children from these monsters. The only sure way to protect our children is to get rid of pedophiles.
Americans should be filled with seething anger and outrage that our legal and legislative systems turn these monsters loose time and time again to prey upon our children.
Any legal system or society that enables criminals to victimize law-abiding citizens, especially children, over and over, again and again, is the epitome of barbarism. That system is far more barbaric than killing child molesters.
It interests me not that some liberals believe pedophile monsters can be rehabilitated, a claim that disregards the facts. It's a damn shame that some people in our society seemingly care more about the evilest of criminals than they do innocent children.
For shame. Do-gooders create more victims.
If Americans won't rise up to defend our children from these monsters, when in God's name will we rise up?
Is our apathy so deep and wide that we don't care about anything except the day and time of our favorite television program? Is pettiness the new religion? What about soullessness?
Our children deserve better from us as parents, better from our legal system and better from our churches.
We must demand, at a minimum, that our state legislatures pass tough versions of Jessie's Law. If America still had an inkling of a moral spine, we would execute these monsters instead of locking them up for a few years and then turning them loose.
A culture rots from within. The height of cultural decay is when a society casts aside its children and no longer values them.
Knowing who these monsters are and allowing them to roam our streets, pedophiles looking for more victims, is evidence that we do not value our children. That is sick.
Believe it or not, I'm a tolerant guy. I recognize people make mistakes and deserve a second chance. However, I have no tolerance for pedophiles and neither should you.
Tolerating the very apex of evil is evil itself.
Kill child molesters. They pose a very clear and present danger to our children. They deserve nothing less. And neither do our children.

Dear Uncle Ted: Most of the time, I think you write like you talk, hyperkinetic. Please, don't get me wrong, my letter about your writing skills was tongue-in-cheek with a bit of ribbing. I have a great deal of respect for you. I don't agree with all of your views, particularly on George W. Bush. I abhor religious nuts. I also agree with you on the issues of censorship. Now I am agreeing with you once again. Regarding sex offenders, I have one solution, crucifixion. I think this should be reality-based and put on pay-per-view. There is no excuse for robbing the innocence of a child. Do you remember Probots? Well, they could certainly utilize this format to torture, dismember, and splatter pedophiles. Many years ago, there was a movie called Network. They televised suicides. It was a reality show. Funny how movies sometimes predict the future. Keep on keepin on, but expect me to give you some static from time to time.

Yes, those silly appeals, let's do away with them. As soon as Ayatollah Gary and MULLAH URPODS decide the guy is guilty, kill him at once. Everyone else can grab a rock and pitch in. It will be fun! Bring the kids and make popcorn.

I ,as a somewhat liberal mother of three have no problem with death for child molesters. My children are a treasure to be protected from all who would harm them in any way. I also hope that Couy will die in prison for his crimes but I don't think he should get the death penalty and the 14 years of appeals that go with it. I say just toss him in general population, he'll only last a couple of very short pain filled weeks before the inmate code of justice will see him eradicated. Although they are convicted criminals, inmates do have a type of code and they do not take kindly to child molesters and murderers. Please try not to lump all people who have some liberal beliefs into a group who would rather "get to the root" of a pedophiles actions than punish them for thier actions.

Dear BJ, Hopefully by teaching your children interacting with the pedophile/criminal crowd is OK and proper, nothing serious ever happens to them. I am glad for you that you will be able to turn the other cheek if they get molested. Please keep that protective bubble intact. If they were my kids I would be scared. That's the great thing about America, you can socialize with anyone you choose, I do not want pedophiles in my life.

I don't know about Pablo, but I have grown tired of hateful, ignorant people who only keep saying the same thing over and over. I have a much greater fear of the harm you might be to my children than anyone else. I hope my children never have contact with the likes of most of you. If they do, you can rest assured they will have been taught to respond without the hatefulness you spout.
