George Darrell Morgan passed away at home on October 26, 2017.George is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan, who he married in 1976; two sons, Kevan and Nick; and three grandchildren, Katey, Wesley, and Elle. He was preceded in death by his son, Rydell.
George is a veteran of the United States Air Force. After growing up in rural Hatch, New Mexico, George enlisted and served his country in active duty. He subsequently worked in organized labor, helping the hard-working men and women in the construction industry in Northern California as an agent and manager for the Operating Engineers Local Union #3.
After retirement, George and Sue lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico, near his surviving sister, Joy Dean, then Yuma, Arizona, and later traveled North America before settling down in Hewitt, Texas, near Waco.
George loved his family and friends, and engaging them in conversation and laughs. Known for both his honesty, as well as his love and dedication to his family, George touched many lives over his 77 years, none more than his family, who miss him dearly.
George expressly requested that no memorial or services be held.
