In Loving MemoryFor all of those privileged enough to have known her, she will be remembered for her beauty of spirit, mind, and body; her wit, intellect, and unfailing love, care, and generosity to others. She was part of that "Greatest Generation" to whom all of us are so indebted.

Ahmaree Arnold Johnson was born on October 24, 1919, to Henryand Beulah Arnold of Waco, Texas. Ahmee, as she was known to those closest to her, lived in Waco until 1948, when she moved to Chicago, Illinois. She left us on April 18, 2016, but her impact upon our lives will remain.

Beloved daughter; sister of Doris Pearl Arnold Tompkins; wife of Walfred Johnson; mother of Joy Everett and Kenneth Gabriel; grandmother of Chris and Cary Anderson, Courtney and Zach Gabriel; Aunt of Cynthia, Lynn, and Thom Tompkins; great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

No one can ever replace her.
