Matt Johnson, judge of the 54th District Court for McLennan County, will unveil a documentary on the history of the McLennan County Courthouse at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Room 127 of the Baylor Law School. The Kronzer Courtroom, 1114 S. University Parks Dr., is where Johnson will make the free, public presentation of his “labor of love” on behalf of the Waco History Project. After researching county records, newspaper archives, materials from the Texas Collection at Baylor University and other sources, Johnson created a multimedia documentary about the courthouse, built originally at a cost of $210,241.48 (about $5.3 million in today’s dollars).
