Historic Waco Foundation to present 'Evenings of Southern Hospitality'

Historic Waco Foundation will present a free series, “Evenings of Southern Hospitality,” on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. for the next several weeks.
Each week, one of the restored house museums of Waco will be open to the public at no charge.
The series kicks off Sept. 9 at McCulloch House, Fourth Street at Columbus Avenue and continues Sept. 16 at Fort House, Fourth Street Street at Webster Avenue. Earle-Napier-Kinard House, Fourth Street Street at Interstate 35 will be open Sept. 30 and East Terrace, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulvard at Mill Street, will be open Oct. 7.
Docents will be stationed in the homes to guide visitors through the rooms and belongings of 19th0century Waco residents. Refreshments will be served.
