A Women’s World Day of Prayer Brunch will be held at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 28 in the Great Hall of George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University.
Featured speaker will be Tamiko Jones, the newly elected executive director of Texas Woman’s Missionary Union.
The event is sponsored by WMU/Women’s Ministries of Waco Regional Baptist Association and co-sponsored by Truett.
A Bible study and devotional will be led by Donell Teaff, mentor, retreat speaker and community leader. Leading a prayer experience will be Angela Reed, Ph.D., director of spiritual formation at Truett.
Worship music will be provided by Baylor singers Candace Allen and Joslyn Henderson, with Jan Cason accompanying on piano. Sinai Rocha Wood, associate professor in the University Libraries at Baylor, will provide the Scripture focus.
The event will begin with a light brunch at 9:30 a.m., followed by the program and prayer at 10 a.m. Participants may stay for Truett’s chapel service and additional prayer at 11 a.m.
