A 19-year-old woman was arrested Sunday afternoon after she allegedly used a fork to injure an 18-year-old friend during a fight at a Robinson home, Robinson police Lt. Tracy O'Connor said.

Stephanie Teresa Gutierrez, of Waco, was arrested after police were called to the 100 block of Brentwood Drive, at about 4:30 p.m. O'Connor said Gutierrez and the 18-year-old woman were verbally fighting before Gutierrez grabbed a fork and lunged at the back of the 18-year-old.

O'Connor said Gutierrez did not stab the woman in the back, but did cause an approximate 10-inch abrasion to the woman's back. The woman was evaluated at the house and did not seek further medical attention.

Police arrested Gutierrez on a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was taken to McLennan County Jail, where she remained Monday afternoon with a bond listed at $20,000.
