Two people were arrested in connection to an aggravated robbery of a pizza deliveryman Sunday night.

A Domino's Pizza driver got out of his 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck in the 700 block of Calumet Street at about 11 p.m. to find an address and deliver an order, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Two people wearing ski masks approached the driver and one pointed a pistol at him, Swanton said. The suspects got into the man's truck and drove away, he said.

Spotting them by a description of the suspects and the truck, McLennan County sheriff's deputies stopped the pair near the South Terrace Apartments, Swanton said. Deputies detained Ashley Leann Hall, 19, and Juwan Latrent Lujan, 20, until it was confirmed they were the two involved in the robbery, he said.

Officers found Hall and Lujan were the two who robbed the pizza driver, Swanton said, and arrested them on aggravated robbery charges. Deputies also charged Lujan with possession of marijuana, he said.
