Law enforcement officials arrested four men Thursday night in Waco on warrants from the Texas Attorney General’s office in connection with human trafficking and prostitution, authorities said.
Waco police officers assisted in the arrest, spokesman W. Patrick Swanton confirmed, but Swanton denied comment on the state office’s case.
Aaron Wayne Keeling, 26, and Luciano Rodriguez, 47, were charged with trafficking persons under 18 years of age. Both were released after posting $10,000 bonds, jail records show.
Roberto Briseno, 37, was charged with prostitution and trafficking persons under 18 years of age. He posted an $11,000 bond.
Edgar Guerrero, 26, was arrested on charges of prostitution and possession of marijuana. His bonds total $2,000, but, according to online jail records, Guerrero is being held on a federal immigration detainer and is ineligible for release.
Details of the investigation and arrest were unavailable Friday.
