An emergency call about an aggravated assault allegation led to the arrest of a Waco man who was also accused of exposing himself to two women and making sexual comments toward them, Bellmead police Sgt. Kory Martin said.

Daniel Perez, 25, was arrested Saturday after police were called to the 1000 block of La Clede Street, where police found a 49-year-old man suffering from visible head injuries. Martin said the victim, a family member of Perez, had a laceration to the head and indicated that Perez injured him during a disturbance.

Martin said the man lost consciousness during the attack. Emergency responders took him to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

During the investigation, officers learned Perez allegedly made inappropriate comments to a 50-year-old and 35-year-old woman. Perez exposed his genitals to the women, Martin said.

Perez was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated assault and two Class B misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure. He remained in McLennan County Jail on Monday with a bond listed at $54,000.
