Waco police are searching for a man who robbed Johnny's Food Mart at gunpoint late Monday night and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were called to the business at 1824 Richter Ave. shortly after 11 p.m. when an unknown man entered the store wearing a stocking over his head, pointed a shotgun at the clerk and took an undisclosed amount of cash and several packs of cigarettes, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton wrote in a press release.

Swanton said the man left the store and was last seen getting into a black, four-door vehicle that appeared to be waiting on Daughtry Avenue. No one was injured during the robbery.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
