A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday, accused of acting as a pimp for two women, an arrest affidavit states.

Demarcus Dshawn Williams, 26, of Fort Worth, was arrested on a second-degree felony charge of compelling prostitution by force, threat or fraud, after a prostitution sting by McLennan County Sheriff's Office investigators in May 2016. During the sting, a woman agreed to meet an undercover detective at a motel room for sex in exchange for money, according to the affidavit.

"She came to me in a vehicle belonging to Demarcus Williams," the affidavit states. "During my interaction with her, I learned of another prostitute that was working with her."

Detectives got a search warrant for a phone and the room where the women were staying and found a money wire receipt showing one of the women had sent money to Williams, the affidavit states. Information on the phone suggested Williams was operating as a "pimp" for the two women, according to the affidavit.

"I interviewed one of the prostitutes, and she expressed fear of Williams if she cooperated with the investigation or attempted to stop working for him," the affidavit states.

Williams was booked into McLennan County Jail on Monday and remained there Tuesday with bond listed at $20,000.
