Waco drug enforcement officers raided a Bellmead apartment and confiscated methamphetamine, ecstasy, and marijuana before arresting one woman Wednesday morning, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Edra Iona Broomfield, 33, of Bellmead, was arrested after investigators with the Waco Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 4100 block of Bellmead Drive. Waco SWAT officers, a Waco K-9 unit, and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers assisted in the operation, Swanton said.

During the search, officers collected 81.25 grams of methamphetamine, four ecstasy pills, about 20.28 grams of marijuana, two cellphones and digital scales.

Swanton said Broomfield was arrested on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to McLennan County Jail, where she remained Wednesday afternoon.

Bond information was not available Wednesday evening.
