Waco police are investigating the shooting death of a 34-year-old man Thursday evening in East Waco.

Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the 800 block of Harlem Avenue at about 6:15 p.m., Sgt. Steve Graeter said. An argument had broken out between two groups of men, Graeter said.

When officers responded, they initially found two vehicles with bullet holes. They found a third vehicle nearby with at least one bullet hole. The victim, Brian Robinson, of Waco, was lying dead in a home’s yard near the third vehicle, Graeter said.

No arrests were made immediately after the shooting.
