A 77-year-old man was identified Monday as the driver of a manure truck who was killed a rollover crash in late November in rural McLennan County.

Isiah Melvin Watkins Sr., of Waco, was killed Nov. 30 after he likely traveled around a curve too fast in the 3200 block of Box Ranch Road, causing the truck to roll onto its side and pin Watkins' leg underneath the truck. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said the truck caught fire and became engulfed in flames, making rescue difficult.

Precinct 1 Place 1 Justice of the Peace Dianne Hensley said she ordered an autopsy to identify a cause of death. She said it was unknown if the Watkins suffered a medical emergency before the crash.

A DPS spokesman did not return a telephone message seeking additional details about the crash.
