Roping show set for Saturday

Trails to the Cross Cowboy Church in Hillsboro will have its annual Central Texas Horse Show Association roping and reining show at the Arena, 226 Stadium Road, Hillsboro, at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event will include lead line and western pleasure reining, along with break-away, ribbon and tie-down roping.

Conservation program

USDA’s Farm Service Agency will have registration for the Conservation Reserve Program ending on April 15.

Spring forage

Extension Beef and Forage Committees from McLennan, Falls and Limestone counties will host a Spring Forage Program on Monday for the three counties at Bobby Hungate’s farm.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the programming at 9 a.m.
