McLennan County 4-H wins honors at state judging contest

The senior teams of the McLennan County 4-H livestock judging team placed first and 10th at the 2010 State 4-H livestock judging contest last month in College Station. Only two other of the 36 teams had two teams at the state championships.
Members of the first-place team are (below from left): Laramie Priest of Lorena; Emily Jackson of Bosqueville; Dalton Meurer of West and Taylor Haliburton of Waco.

Members of the 10th place team are (below from left): Brant Embry and Emmali Pankonien of Riesel; Connor Jackson of Bosqueville and Austin Cook of Lorena.
