Matt Baker to file motion for new trial today
Tribune-Herald staff report
Former pastor Matt Baker, convicted this year in the 2006 murder of his wife, Kari Baker, and sentenced to 65 years in prison, will file a motion for a new trial and change of venue today.
Kari Baker’s death initially was ruled a suicide, but her husband was charged in her death after her body was later exhumed and re-examined.
