Am I just dreaming or sleeping or has there been an increase in crime in the Waco Texas area durring the last two years? Are the majority of those crimes engaged in my blacks. I am not trying to be racist, I am just curious. I have have some friends that are interested in moving here and I do not want to encourage them to move here if we have had an increase in crime here. Thank you very much for your honest help in advance.
I had problems actually getting on the live chat. Cookies on or cookies off whatever? There were some good questions asked but the answers seemed a bit mild. One about " Do we have a gang problem in Waco" ? and the answer was "What is you definition of a gang" ? Get real. I wanted to find out the crime rate per capita and then compare it against larger towns. Then maybe we can find out if it's as bad as it appears on TV. I wonder sometimes it the reports are sensationalized? I lived in Colombia for almost 2 years both in Bogota and Cartegana and they have a few gangs down there.........one is known as "Farc". Unless you listened to the National news you didn't know there was a problem. I'm not saying stick your head in sand, you have to be aware at all times but some good news goes along ways in how people feel. Believe me, everyone needs a good shot of feeling good........there is enough gloom. Now the quesion is "Do We have a gang problem in Waco" ?
