A Waco man was arrested Friday in connection with an August shooting in North Waco.
Waco police officers were called Aug. 1 to investigate a report of gunfire at 2326 Reuter Ave., where they found several shell casings in the street.
Witnesses told police that Darnell Cornelius Chalk, 26, had approached Archie Zeno and asked him “if he had his gun because he had his,” according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
Chalk, who goes by the nickname “D-bo,” then shot Zeno in the left arm, the affidavit states.
Chalk is out of jail on $15,000 bond, a McLennan County Jail spokeswoman said.
