Hewitt police have accused the 42-year-old owner of Lee’s Tae Kwon Do in Hewitt of sexually assaulting a middle school girl for about three years and then threatening to kill her after he found out that she had told police.
Mitchell Dean Cochran, who opened the tae kwon do studio on Jim Drive in 1992, is charged with retaliation and two counts of sexual assault. Hewitt police arrested Cochran on Wednesday, and he was released from the McLennan County Jail on Thursday after posting $60,000 bond.
When reached Thursday evening at the tae kwon do studio, Cochran said he had no comment on the allegations.
According to arrest warrant affidavits, Cochran regularly sexually assaulted a girl from the time she was in eighth grade to a sophomore in high school. The affidavits do not indicate that any of the alleged assaults took place at the tae kwon do studio.
On Wednesday, when the alleged victim gave a written statement to police on the abuse, the affidavits state that Cochran called the girl’s mother and said he would “blow (the girl’s) f—-ing head off and kill her.”

I have known Mitch all my life, my parents have known him most of there life and there is NO way he is guilty of any of the allegations against him. Mitch is a great guy and what he is going through right now is horrible. It is very sad that this girl and her mom have to ruin his life, if anyone should be punished it should be them two for lying.
To you Waco John, how did you spend your Halloween? Commenting on people you have no idea about? You are real quick to believe the girl that is accusing him, if you knew her and her mom believe me your mind would change real quick.

I was a student a this school for several years during this time and Mr Cochran is nothing but a wonderful instructor. He is professional and a family man. I would be very very shocked if these allegations are true. Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions...

Is he going to have to spend Halloween night in 'custody'? Too bad he could not be held without a bond option. 2 counts on a 3-year accusation? I'm sure there should be more than just 2 counts.
What a failure as a man. Subhuman. Wonder if he knows about B.A.C.A.
