Two Huntsville residents were awaiting extradition Thursday from the Walker County Jail to Limestone County, where they face charges in at least two home invasion robberies in Kosse.
Natalie McDaniel, 26, and Terry Johnson, 23, are charged with aggravated robbery on warrants out of Limestone County, Walker County Jail officials said. Bond had not been set as of late Thursday, jail officials said. Johnson, a former Mexia resident, also is charged with robbery, officials said.
According to the Kosse Police Department, Johnson and McDaniel, a former Kosse resident, kicked in the door Sunday night to a house in the 200 block of the city’s West Monroe Street. The resident, described by police as an elderly man, was assaulted, and personal items were taken, police said.
As a Kosse police officer was taking a report from the man, the department received a call of a similar incident at a house on West Washington Street.
In that case, police say Johnson and McDaniel entered the home and hit the elderly male resident in the head with a pan while he was in the kitchen eating a sandwich, Kosse police said.
Authorities did not release further details, including either man’s age.
Kosse police and the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office are continuing the investigate the case, authorities with both departments said.
