POLICE NEWS: Police seek suspect in robbery

Saturday, November 22, 2008

By Ken Sury

Tribune-Herald community editor

Police were still looking Friday night for a man who robbed a Waco convenience store earlier that morning.

The robbery occurred around 12:50 a.m. at the Skinny’s convenience store located at 600 N. Valley Mills Drive, said Waco police spokesman Steve Anderson. The suspect walked into the store, brandished a knife in front of the sales clerk and demanded money from the cash register, Anderson said.

The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The sales clerk was not injured.

Fred, you have crossed a line you should have left alone. Some of my friends work in the convenience store business. If any harm comes to them that is in any way related to your comment on this article, I hope they hunt you down like the trash you are and charge you as an accessory.

Slaughterhouse Waco is a great place to live. Warning: Waco Convenience Stores are Dangerous; shop at your own risk. Of course, no arrests have been make by Waco Police.....as usual. The "slashing" knife welding Robber is still loose in Slaughterhouse Waco to Rob again. Maybe next time he'll slit the throat of the store clerk? Another typical day in Slaughterhouse Waco.

Commenting is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F, except on Tuesday when it's open until 9 p.m.
